St. Berchmans HSS, Changanassery is the brainchild of the great visionary prelate Rev. Dr Charles Lavigne SJ whose foresight was quite instrumental in launching the Archdiocese in the field of mass instruction. The school, ever since its foundation is keen on imparting holistic schooling to its beneficiaries, irrespective of caste and creed, financial and social backgrounds.
The school was upgraded as higher secondary in 1998. Now the higher secondary wing offers value added quality schooling to 600 boys and is one of the largest boys’ higher secondary schools in the state.
